Edessas Character System

Stylized NPCs, player outfit variations, and customization systems created for Battlemons.

For the city of Edessa, the goal was to design a cast of NPCs and player cosmetics that felt cohesive, readable, and easy to expand throughout production. The work focused heavily on modular thinking, colour variation systems, progression-based outfit upgrades, and personality-driven customization while staying within the stylized shape language of the game.

Included in this project:
• NPC outfit exploration & colour variants
• Player skin concepts & event outfits
• Hairstyle, face, and eye customization systems
• Personality-based facial variations
• Outfit progression tied to player level progression
• Readability and scalability for in-game implementation

Most concepts were designed with production limitations and gameplay readability in mind, aiming to balance strong silhouettes with a system that could grow over time.
